Blur...

An hour ago... I just had my lunch...

An hour ago my friends were waiting for me at Millenium Square. We were supposed to go for a Thai meal.

An hour ago... I thought we were meeting tomorrow, which is SUNDAY...

An hour ago... my Greek friend, who wasn't too happy called me and asked me.. "Where are you Fat Fingers?? Home?? I said TODAY! SATURDAY!!! Ok! It's OK! Never mind! See you soon!"

LOL.. I'm such a plum sometimes! And i think it's also partly because i haven't slept well for the past few days... hmmmm

My friend even texted me and MSN'd me earlier to tell me we're meeting today but somehow i saw the words "tomorrow" and "Sunday"!

So i've missed out on a Thai meal! Oooh! Pad Krapow! My favourite!!! But it's ok.. i go there almost every other weekend anyway! Plus, it's good to stay at home cos i need to finish the report which will be due next week and i need to save some money for train fares and stuff!!!

Next Week (1st of March) is Mr. Fat Finger's Mama's birthday. We are going to London to have some Malaysian fare... The pics from louyau.net made me and Mr. Fat Fingers drool all over our keyboards!

And my birthday is at the end of march (The 31st!!) !! hehe And we are all thinking of going to London for the weekend for some Dim Sum and maybe do some touristy stuff.

Yeah so i'll be spending lots of money in the next month... oh and i have to spend on train fares for my internship.... No.. wait! Haha i Just remembered! The co. will reimburse my travel expenses! hahaha! And lunch expenses too! So i guess it's not that bad... i can use some of the money i'll get to save for shoes and handbags hahaha.. not! Ok.. maybe just a pair of shoes.. the one that i have been eyeing... hmmmm

oh my gosh.. Oriental Canteen?

dun go there.. the food's not good. For Malaysian food, go to Mawar at Edgeware road or Melati at Soho. Unlike what's said on louyau.net, I do not think the duck rice at OC is comparable to Four Seasons. Four Seasons remains the roast duck champion.

For Thai food, you can check our Blue Elephant or Addie's Cafe.

yah i dun think anythinc can be compared to four seasons but always damn crowded lah!

eh,

there are 2 Melati in Soho...one is ex, and the other one is cheap. I have only tried the ex one.

around chinatown, ard this alley (by the side path or somehting), there is a rest. call C&R...their food also not bad. You should try their Indian Mee Goreng (its maggi mee noodles). There is also a C&R on the road opposite Whitleys (the shopping centre near to 4 Seasons). This branch take credit card, but the one at chinatown doesnt take any card, just cash.

and if you want to eat dimsum, go to KUM TONG at Bayswater(only cash n amex). ROYAL CHINA is overrated loh...and damn ex.

for nice jap food...go to the JAPAN centre at PICC. Circus....or go to SAKURA at near Oxford Cicus tube. Will try to check out which road its on. but i know its after the APPLE centre (on regent street), and turn out onto one of those side street. There is a SLUG&LETTUCE pub there..once you see the pub, you will see SAKURA. BUT if going for dinner, go before 730pm, if not you got to wait like hell.

they got vbery nicer TENTOJI Don.....DAMN nice...
