Does anyone remember this??

I was browsing some books on ebay (yes.. things i would do to stop myself from doing REAL work) and came across this! And i remembered I used to own some of these Story Teller mags and cassettes! I enjoyed reading them so much I read them over and over and over and over and over (you get the picture) again!

I am so tempted to get them but wow.. they are really going at a high price! I might just get the cd with the stories (that's £15 for two editions!!) and try to find the mags at a later time when I have more money. I am really skint now. I just spent £15 on 3 Adrian Mole dvds from ebay. I can't wait to watch them!

I also need to get a haircut.. so more £. I also need to spend money on train tickets to and fro London when I start my dissertation research with the co. (But the co. might reimburse me that.. and hopefully my lunch too and also pay me some £££!!)

Aiii.. i better go do my work now...

Adrain mole!!! Man it sure brings back fond memories from the time I laid my hands on the first installation when I was just a 13 years old pimply kid. Just finished the latest book in the series, adrain mole and the weapons of mass destruction. Sadly this will be the very last in the adrain mole series.

p.s: going to the world cup?

cheeky!! i miss you! :D yah Adrian mole is really cool. I have not read the last two books actually! I will get it from ebay... sometimes there are really good bargains.

Yes there are dvds too! I got it here! I think you can ask the guy and see if he can send it to Singapore.

Oh yes, i am not going to the world cup. Not really a football fan and will be busy doing my dissertation!

hmmm. strangely enough, i don't recall those 'story-teller' books from my childhood. deprived.

but i see we share the procrastinating bit... being online instead of working on the thesis!

is summer creeping along now?

Yup, me too. Never really heard of it. But I miss those "choose your ending" storybooks. It's money worthwhile cos I can end up having 2-3 different kinds of plots. Hee hee!

Spyda: the weather here has been really bad the last 3 days. It kept raining! I think it will go on for another week! :(

Hazel: i know what you are talking about! Choose your own adventure series! I used to read it too! hehe. Oh and I saw one at a charity shop the other day...

Keke, I love the Adrian Mole series. I lent a 'friend' my 3-in-1 which includes the first three novels, and I've not seen them since :(
