Size does matter...

The Boyfriend : Would you like to have some tea?
Me : Yes please.
The Boyfriend : Ang Moh Size?
Me : no.. Oriental size please!!

Man the servings here are so big!
Even the tablespoon at The Boyfriend's house seems bigger than the one i have back at home.. hmmmm HAHA
Oh yah, and in England.. Asian means people from India/Pakistan. For me, i'm an oriental! I hope no one spins me around cos then i'll be disoriented! HAHAHAHAHAHA

And the clothes! It's all size 10 and above! Well.. there are some size 8 and 10.. but i have to see anything nice yet. I have to go shopping more.. if the weather improves!!

Thank you everyone for the comments but i can't reply to them.. no time lah.. cos not using own lappie at the moment. And gotta chat with the family too. Man, i miss them already! Actually, it's mostly mum's food!

I cooked some rice today and some steamed egg too hehe. Tastes good but not as good as mum's...

Tomorrow i will cook chicken rice.. i hope it will turn out good.. and yah, the chicken here is very big too! and it cost us.. SGD20!!!! Wah lau.. it;s going to be an expensive chicken rice..

OK everyone, Fat Fingers gotta go now..

Take care! & I'll blog again soon....

Word of advice, try not to convert the prices into SGD. Intense heartache. I used to do that but eventually I just stop converting. Makes me feel better when I buy stuff. hehe.

I higly recommend you go shop in miss selfrige they have size 8 and they have got end of season sales (mostly size 8) and if u are lucky enough sometimes they have this buy on get one free offer. Or alternatively u can go to topshop, they cater all the way to size 6.

When lancerlady was there, she usually scout for clothes in the petite section. Sometimes in the kids section also. And ya Topshop has sizes that are small. Good place to shop for 'oriental' sizes. :)

an oriental small-frame lady shop for "small" in singapore women's apparel shop.

Over there, they shop in the children's section with lace and ribbons!

Okay, just a crude joke =P

Oriental? That's pretty cool. I guess with so many asians living there, they have to differentiate them too.

wow! count yourself lucky you know how to cook! it was a major hurdle i had to cross when i first came over to melbs! haha!

cooking at home is a cheaper alternative (unlike back in singas, where going to the hawker centre is cheaper), and is healthier! that's killing 2 birds with 1 stone eh?

take care! glad to know you're safe and happy with the Boyfriend and his [extended] family!
